MM2H (MALAYSIA MY SECOND HOME)
The Ministry of Tourism has announced the new MM2H requirements.
SILVER

Irrespective of the chosen tier, all participants must fulfil the minimum stay requirement of residing in Malaysia for a cumulative total of (90) days annually.

Additional Requirement
Monthly rental as the principal source of offshore revenue for MM2H participants, subject to the term of the rental contract.

Note: For renewal purpose, the participant is required to submit the new rental contract.

The MM2H participants are NOT ALLOWED to participate in activities that are sensitive to the culture of local people, involve in politics, missionary work or any activities that are provocative in nature that could be a threat to the national security. The definition of “sensitive to the culture”, “provocative in nature” and “national security” is subjected to the definition as determined by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

In the event of the demise of the Principal, the dependents are obliged to inform the MM2H Unit, Visa Pas & Permit Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia within three (3) months from the date of his death. Failure to do so may result in the expiry of the visa in which the MM2H Unit, Visa Pas & Permit Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia will not provide any approval letter for the purpose of withdrawal of the deposit from the Principal’s Fixed Deposit.
